Two of my favorite animals at Kruger are not part of the Big Five. They’re not that hard to spot at Kruger, but they are super cool anyway because of their distinctive spots and stripes. Crazy what nature creates.
Zebras and giraffes are awesome! Cool photos. (I forgot to tell you the zoo was a little sad the other day {even though it was free zoo day} because T & I kept thinking of how they weren’t in their true, natural homes, and I kept thinking of how you were seeing them in own habitat and how the Pittsburgh Zoo kind of paled in comparison….but it was still fun).
I’m not sure how I feel about zoos anymore. They are educational and preserve species of animals, but animals are just not as free as they are in the wild. Pittsburgh zoo is a nice one though. I didn’t know they had free days.
